The CMA Foundation’s COVID-19 Community Hospital Fund granted $44,000 to the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (Seaforth Community Hospital as part of its COVID-19 relief initiative to support those on the frontline of this pandemic.
“These funds will be used to enhance the patient care experience within the hospital, allowing us the ability to create flexible and adaptable patient care areas through the purchase of a negative air machine, a portable pressure monitor, an ante room panel kit, protective screening at communication stations, a workstation on wheels, a portable oxygen saturation monitor and vital sign towers,” said Foundation chairperson Dick Burgess. “It is in these times of crisis and uncertainty that strong communities pull together to help one another.”
