This month’s Pulse Report survey asks dealers about their brand strategy as the boating season kicks off and if they may add brands to close gaps in available inventory.
The report also asks dealers about retail trends, product shortages and overall inventory as the boating season gets underway around the country.
Launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research, the survey gauges monthly retail conditions. It also includes the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, which gauges retailer confidence.

The monthly Pulse Report survey asks dealers to weigh in on how they are spending the winter months following a summer and fall that saw new-boat demand spike.
The five-question survey was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013 to gauge monthly retail conditions.
Soundings Trade Only partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results.
