Young Africans last Saturday, but the match was postponed in controversial fashion.
Simba SC are currently top of the league, four points ahead of second-placed Young Africans. They have also played two fewer matches to date.
Initially, the match was scheduled for 17:00 but was moved to 19:00 by the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF).
Young Africans duly ignored the change in kick-off time.
The club stated that it went against the league ruling and were the only side to pitch for the warm-up at the originally scheduled time while match officials and Simba SC weren’t in attendance at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
