“The web defines a mentorship as a relationship between two people where the individual with more experience, knowledge, and connections is able to pass along what they have learned to a more junior individual within a certain field. The more senior individual is the mentor, and the more junior individual is the mentee,” NSWCDD Technical Director John Fiore stated. “I agree with that definition, and I would add mentoring focuses on teaching. Mentoring is a careful consideration of another’s goals compared to their capability gaps and strategically working to find ways to close those gaps through experience, training and education. Mentoring requires we know something about each other.”

(Alliance News) - Stock prices in London are seen opening higher on Tuesday, with investors increasingly hopeful for economic recovery in the UK as coronavirus cases fall and the mass vaccination rollout continues.
In early company news, Swiss miner and commodities broker Glencore reinstated its dividend as net debt fell. Gambling and financial trading software provider Playtech signed a strategic US agreement with a casino and racetrack operator. Outsourcer Serco Group made inroads into the lucrative US defence market.
IG futures indicate the FTSE 100 index is to open 35.19 points higher at 6,791.30. The blue-chip index closed up 166.32 points, or 2.5%, at 6,756.11 Monday.

Bharat Electronics Exports $48.6M during FY 2019-20 Our Bureau 1761
India’s Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has exported nearly $48.6 million (INR 354.6 crore) worth of equipment during FY 2019-20.
The products exported includes Communication Systems, Coastal Surveillance System, Missile Systems, Radars, Electronic Warfare Systems, Electro Optic Systems and Electro Optic Fire Control Systems, Radar Finger Printing System, Naval Systems, Radar Warning Receivers and Electronic Voting Machines, Anandi Ramalingam, Director Marketing, BEL said ahead of Aero India 2021 scheduled to start on February 3.
Some of BEL’s customers are USA, UK, Russia, Italy, Brazil, Germany, France, Israel, Indonesia, Honduras, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Myanmar, Namibia, Seychelles and South Africa.
