Brewers put away Pirates with late-inning offense

Corbin Burnes gave up just one run in almost eight innings and the bats provided late insurance to give the Brewers a 7-2 win over the Pirates Thursday night in Pittsburgh.
Burnes allowed just one run on four hits while striking out five. He came out of the game with one out in the eighth after the trainers came out to talk with him.
The Brewers had a 4-1 lead entering the ninth inning. With Josh Hader warming up in the bullpen, Omar Narvaez and Tyrone Taylor drove in three insurance runs to give the Milwaukee closer the night off. Alec Bettinger pitched the final inning for Milwaukee.
