Not at all a bad start to the work week with comfortable and fair conditions with highs this afternoon in the lower 80s. We are seeing a mix of sun and clouds, and though we are rain-free, we can’t rule out a few isolated showers on the radar this afternoon or tonight, mainly across West Alabama. Not much change in the weather for tomorrow, it will be another warm day with a mix of sun and clouds, and once again we will mention a few isolated showers during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs again will be mainly in the lower 80s.

THIS WEEKEND: What a great weekend ahead as we’ll stay dry with very nice weather. Saturday will feature near-maximum sunshine with highs in the mid-70s to the lower 80s. Sunday will continue the mainly sunny and dry conditions with warmer temperatures. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s to the mid-80s.
NEXT WEEK: A ridge will set up over the southeastern US during the work week which will bring us warmer temperatures and higher humidity levels. Monday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower to mid-80s. We look to remain mostly dry on Tuesday, but with higher humidity levels, I can’t rule out an isolated shower or two somewhere in Central Alabama. Highs will be in the upper 70s to the upper 80s.

Gorgeous weather covers Alabama today as we are seeing sunshine full supply. Temperatures have rebounded from the morning chill with 70s covering the Alabama landscape this afternoon. Tonight, the sky remains clear with lows ranging from the upper 40s to lower 50s.
ACROSS THE USA: Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible across parts of the southern and central Plains through Saturday. Large hail and severe wind gusts are the main threats. Heavy rainfall is forecast from the western Gulf Coast into the Midwest from this weekend into early next week. New and renewed river rises are possible across portions of eastern Texas.
