قالت السلطات الأمريكية يوم السبت إن سمكة قرش بيضاء كبيرة هاجمت رجلا يبلغ من العمر 35 عاما قبالة ساحل منطقة خليج سان فرانسيسكو، وهو الآن في حالة خطيرة.
وذكر مكتب قائد شرطة مقاطعة سان ماتيو أن سمكة قرش يبلغ طولها مترين عضت الرجل في ساقه اليمنى أثناء سباحته قبالة شاطئ جراي ويل كوف، بالقرب من سان فرانسيسكو شمالي ولاية كاليفورنيا. وصدر أمر بإغلاق الشاطئ.
وجاء في بيان مكتب قائد شرطة المقاطعة تمكن الرجل من السباحة إلى الشاطئ وتم استدعاء المساعدة الطبية ، مضيفا أن الرجل تم نقله إلى ستانفورد لتلقي العلاج.
