Walter Kraft, EMU’s Vice President of Communications, says they are still waiting to find out when they will receive the funds and are already developing a plan on how it will be used.

A lawsuit was filed against EMU last month by 11 women who claim the university mishandled several sexual assault cases between 2015 and 2020.

Regent Jeffries says they will also do everything within their power to prevent such crimes from happening in the future and to make survivors feel supported after such a life-altering incident.
