GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 8 Florida lacrosse team is set to host the second American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship, beginning with Thursday’s semifinal against Cincinnati.
Opening draw is slated for 4:30 p.m. at Donald R. Dizney Stadium. The game will stream on ESPN+ and can be heard on FloridaGators.com/watch.
Lincoln Rose will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all three games, while Kit McConnico will handle the color duties for the weekend.
The second semifinal will be between Vanderbilt and Temple 45 minutes after the conclusion of Florida’s game. If the Gators were to advance, they face the winner of semifinal No. 2 at 12 p.m. on Saturday.

FAIRFAX, Calif. – The Washington State women s golf team heads down to the Golden State to participate in its third tournament of the spring, as the Cougars will play in the 2021 Meadow Club Invitational, hosted by both San Francisco and San Jose State. The first two rounds of play will take place this Monday, March 8, while the tournament s final round will be held on Tuesday, March 9.
Fifth-year senior Marie Lund-Hansen and junior Amy Chu head into this play this week as the defending individual champions at Meadow Club Invitational. The WSU duo shared last year s tournament title by carding 214 (-2) over their three rounds. Washington State will be hoping for a repeat performance at the Meadow Club Invitational this week, as the Cougars earned a second-place finish at this tournament a year ago with a score of 877 (+13).
Tournament Reflections – Liberty s Previous Showing at the Seminole Intercollegiate: • The Flames made their inaugural appearance at the Seminole Intercollegiate during last spring s abbreviated schedule. • The Flames finished in third place, posting a score of 9-over par 873 (297-285-291). • Washington, the top-ranked team in the field at No. 17, walked away with the team title, posting a winning score of 9-under par 855 (289-288-278). • Last year s 14-team tournament field included three other ASUN Conference schools: North Florida (T7 +19 883), Jacksonville (9th +24 888) and North Alabama (13th +46 910). • The Flames were paced by Jonathan Yaun, who individually finished in second place with a 6-under par 210 (74-67-69).
