Omar Faruk, 24, a constable at Panchagarh Police Lines, was handed over to the BGB through a flag meeting yesterday, around 22 hours after he was detained on Sunday night. The flag meeting was held between BSF and BGB members at pillar no. 753 on Ghagra border in Mominpara village around 6:30pm yesterday, our Thakurgaon correspondent reports. Panchagarh Additional Superintendent of Police Sudarshan Kumar Roy, BGB Ghagra border battalion Company Commander Subedar Nurul Amin, Panchagarh Sadar Police Station Inspector (investigation) Jamal Hossain were present during the meeting.
