AVM startet erstes Update für den neuen FritzWLAN Repeater 6000
AVM hat für seinen neuen Wi-Fi 6-fähigen FritzRepeater 6000 ein erstes Wartungsupdate zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Netzwerkgerät bekommt FritzOS 7.28 und damit eine Reihe an Verbesserungen und Fehlerbehebungen.
Besitzer eines FritzRepeaters 6000 können in Kürze aktualisieren und bekommen verbesserte Sicherheits- und Netzwerk-Funktionen. Zudem hat AVM ein paar nervige Probleme behoben, die zum Beispiel dazu führten, dass in der Betriebsart LAN-Brücke nur noch 100 MBit/s möglich waren. Außerdem gibt es eine Reihe von Fehlerbehebungen. Es handelt sich laut AVM bei der Veröffentlichung um ein Wartungsupdate. Es wird aber allen Nutzern empfohlen schnell zu installieren, da die Fritz Updates häufig auch sicherheitsrelevante Änderungen mitbringen, auch wenn diese nicht näher in den Informationen zum Update genannt werden.
