Egyptian Christians Unite Amid Difficult Year Thursday, December 10th, 2020 It’s been a difficult year for so many, including Christians in Egypt. The closure of churches and limits on gatherings have affected livelihoods, with economic instability and political uncertainty adding further heavy burdens. With this is mind, satellite broadcaster SAT-7 took the step of calling the church together for three days of online worship and prayer. Joe Willey from SAT-7 has told Mission Network News, Egyptian Christian leaders also led the community in prayer. “They prayed for numerous things but for healing and safety from the COVID pandemic; they prayed for economic stability in the Middle East and North Africa,” he says.
