Donations for a GoFundMe page continue to pour in for a West Kootenay man killed in a snowmobile accident last week near Kaslo. Kaslo RCMP said that local Search and Rescue were called to an avalanche accident on the afternoon of Thursday, March 4 in the Antoine Basin area. RCMP said when Search and Rescue arrived, snowmobilers were able to dig the West Kootenay man out of the out of the snow from the avalanche, but he did not survive.
