THIS MONTH for the ‘Fermanagh Lives Lived’ series of in-depth interviews, the Herald was in conversation with Fr Joe McVeigh from Ederney.
Fr Joe talks about his 50 years of ministry which began in Fermanagh the same year as internment was introduced, his early days in Moneyvriece and St Michael’s College, and his passion for the environment and human rights.
“I felt I was always following my conscience,” Fr Joe said.

UK indie Strawberry Blond is launching an office in Glasgow, headed by its series producer Hannah Smith.

A new team will be hired to work under Smith at the Scottish office, which will focus on developing entertainment, features and kids’ series.
Smith’s credits at Strawberry Blond include The Live Lounge Show (BBC4), The Great British Dig (More4) and The Playlist (CBBC).
The Glasgow office is the third to be launched by the company, which is based in London and has a sister label in Bristol, Super Best Quality Video Productions, run by former UKTV commissioning editor Joe McVey.
