Pueblo United has continued charitable efforts during COVID pandemic

Throughout the past year, nonprofit organization Pueblo United has helped raise funds for local businesses and organizations who were forced to close during the height of the pandemic. The organization started in June 2020. It began selling t-shirts online at SupportingPueblo.com to help support the community. It actually went pretty well. It helped with some of the other projects we were working on, said Kevin Howard, co-founder of Pueblo United. Pueblo United stopped selling t-shirts in August 2020 after its vendor became too expensive and the organization couldn t find a new vendor to make them at an affordable price. Pueblo United started working with local real estate companies that deal with liquidated homes. The real estate companies donated houses they couldn t sell to the organization which it donated back to the community.
