Michael Keaton s Batman Returning . in DC Comics!
Over 30 years after Michael Keaton gave justice to Batman s character, his story will finally be continued on DC Comics.
DC Comics itself confirmed the arrival of the new digital-first series, Batman 89. It will be launched alongside Superman 78.
The upcoming comics series will reportedly continue the story of Keaton s version of Batman in director Tim Burton s 1989 film.
The story of the 69-year-old actor s character did not get another follow-up after the Batman Returns in 1992. Thus, the new series is expected to tell more stories about Batman and the Gotham City in the said Keaton-Burton version.

Superman 78 and Batman 89 will live on in the pages of new DC Comics that will continue the original stories before the sequels.
Superman and Tim Burton s 1989
Batman saw multiple sequels. But these new stories will be a continuation of what happened in the original movies before their follow-ups ever hit the screen.
Superman and Batman are two of the most beloved and iconic superheroes ever created. So it s no surprise that
DC Comics is finding new ways to explore their ever-ongoing stories. Though continuing their adventures from the original blockbuster movies is a unique and new idea. Both of these new comics will be firmly set in the worlds originally created by directors Richard Donner and Tim Burton.
Batman ’66) will collaborate on
Superman ’78 to tell stories set within the world Richard Donner and Christopher Reeves created in
Superman: The Movie. In
Superman ’78, bystanders are surprised and delighted by Superman’s abilities. And Lois Lane doesn’t (yet!) know that Clark Kent is secretly Superman. Inspired by Donner’s timeless style of superhero storytelling, in
Superman ’78 Venditti and Torres will show fans that a man can truly fly. Hopefully this comic will give fans things we never got before in those classic films. Perhaps villains like Bizarro and Brainiac.

If you are of a certain age then the Tim Burton Batman movies and Richard Donner's Superman movies are the best superhero movies that have ever existed. Wh.
