Rockford Public Library s Summer Reading Program isn t just for kids, adults can earn prizes this summer as well.
Emily Klonicki from the Rockford Public Library joined the show this morning. She s a repeat guest to the morning show and one of our favorites. Emily had all the details on the summer reading program that starts June 1st and it sounds pretty cool.
I remember the summer reading program of my youth and it wasn t anything like this. I vaguely remember a chart drawn on brown butcher paper that hung in the corner of North Surburban Library. You basically got one paper book that was put up in your column for every book you read over the summer.
Streaming Services Want You To Stop Sharing Passwords Right Now
I was just reading about how streaming services are hauling in about $120 billion per year from their subscribers, but they re mad as hell about the billions more they lose from account passwords being passed around, and they re not going to take it anymore.
I may be mistaken, but I believe this is exclusive video of a conference call between some streaming service CEOs:
Okay.I m being informed that I am indeed mistaken. This is from the 1976 film Network, not a streaming service CEO conference call.but the point remains the same.

IceHogs Get New Owners, Team To Stay, BMO Gets Upgrades
$11.8 million from the City of Rockford.
There s a lot to like when you hear things like
250 construction jobs will be created, while hundreds of jobs already in existence at the BMO Harris Bank Center will be retained. Tack on little things like
$23 million in renovation and refurbishment to the arena itself, and the fact that the IceHogs will stay right here in Rockford for at least the
next 15 years, and you ve got the ingredients for a feel-good story.
“It’s going to be a phenomenal experience to come here as a fan,” said RAVE board Chairman Craig Thomas. Leaders said this is a significant investment for the community, potentially bringing in $382 million in economic activity for the state and region.
While the suits and ties behind Jeopardy! continue their search for the show next s host (rest easy, Alex Trebek) special hosts will fill the show for the time being. A few of the names to fill the massive gap so far include Katie Couric, Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings, and Aaron Rodgers. Rod-gers won a celebrity edition of the popular game show in the past so the idea of him hosting a few episodes made sense on paper.
Unfortunately, the episodes with Rodgers as the host have been less than exciting. Granted, filling Trebek s role is no easy task, the only thing Joepardy! fans and football fans aren t talking about his less-than-exciting verbal skills. Everyone is talking about Aaron Rodgers being trolled by a contestant.
