EAST LIVERPOOL Thanks to an Ohio History Fund $15,000 grant from the Ohio History Connection, the Museum of Ceramics has presented more than 60 volumes of the East Liverpool newspapers from the late 1800s and early 1900s on microfilm.
According to Susan Weaver, museum director, copies of the East Liverpool Crisis and the Evening News Review, covering years 1887 to 1908, now are available on microfilm. She explained that the original newspapers were so brittle and fragile that they could no longer be handled without damaging them.
