COLUMBUS, Ohio Saying they want to be transparent in the investigation, the city of Columbus released more information and dashcam video on Thursday involving the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Ma Khia Bryant.

The Columbus Police Department fatally shot someone Tuesday afternoon just as a jury returned a guilty verdict for ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the murder of George Floyd.
Family members have identified Ma’khia Bryant, a Black teenager, as the victim, according to media reports. A woman who said she was Ma’khia’s mom told reporters her daughter was 16 years old, while a woman who said she was Ma’khia’s aunt initially said the girl was 15 years old.
