With all COVID-19 extensions ending, the deadline for Ohioans to renew their driver’s licenses, IDs, or vehicle registrations ended July 1, according to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (OBMV).
Ohio drivers with a license expiration date on or after March 9, 2020 had been exempted during the COVID-19 emergency under a law signed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.
Before heading into the BMV, remember to take advantage of the Ohio BMV’s virtual queuing system – “Get in Line, Online” and also check out the number of services available from the comfort of home through BMV Online Services, explained the Ohio BMV.

HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – Ohio counties could soon have control over the development of large-scale solar and wind farms.
A bill that gives commissioners the ability to create restrictions is waiting to be signed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.
Cincinnati recently broke ground on the nation s largest city-led solar project. 1,000 acres of solar arrays will go up in Highland County, but local Dave Gingerich said it’s not the only project in the works.
“Within just a small radius of our town, we are being surrounded with 7,000 to 8,000 acres of solar arrays. When they put those up, there are no laws that are set up to specify what is called a setback,” he said.
