(WFIE) - On Wednesday, the Green River District Health Department is reporting seven more COVID-19 related death and 190 additional cases. Of those new cases, 71 are in Daviess County, 48 are in Ohio County, 31 are in Henderson County, 18 are in Hancock County, 13 are in Webster County, seven are in McLean County, and there are two new cases in Union County.

Of those new cases, 119 are in Daviess County, 19 are in Ohio County, 14 are in Henderson County, 13 are in Hancock County, there are eight in both McLean and Webster counties, and six new cases in Union County. Green River health officials say the COVID-19 deaths included two residents of Daviess County and one resident of Henderson County.

5 more local COVID-19 deaths reported in KY (Source: WFIE) By 14 News Staff | December 30, 2020 at 10:26 AM CST - Updated December 30 at 4:39 PM KENTUCKY (WFIE) - On Wednesday, Kentucky reported 3,784 new COVID-19 cases and 29 new deaths. “Our report for today is higher than it has been for a number of days. The progress we have made is fragile. We have to keep working and making good decisions every day,” said Gov. Beshear. “We need everybody to be safe this New Year’s Eve. Do not gather in large groups.” The Governor said the state’s elevated positivity rate today may be the result of some labs and public testing sites closing for the holidays.
