Century School art teacher Chris Boedigheimer explained that the Osage Lions Club hosted a poster contest and provided cash prizes for the winners, along with making a donation to the Century Middle School Art Club. “The students were supposed to create posters that contained a positive message for youth,” he said. “In previous years, the first place winner s poster travelled to a regional Lions Club poster contest, but I am unsure if this will still happen due to the conference being postponed due to COVID.”
