Overland Park Whataburger Stays Winning

A scaled-back version of an apartment complex directly south of the Ranch Mart South shopping center near 95th and Mission was once again approved by the Overland Park Planning Commission Monday night.
The controversial project now heads back to the full city council on Jan. 11.
The revised plan which, among other things, lowers the overall height of the proposed complex by about 15 feet passed the commission by a 7-3 voice vote, a wider margin than when the commission okayed the original plan in September by a 6-5 vote. Individual votes were not announced at Monday’s meeting.

Whataburger s food is bland and mediocre enough to blend perfectly into the overall ambience of Overland Park.
They should be the next big thing there for almost a week.

Overland Park planning commission to vote on Whataburger development plan

The popular burger joint Whataburger is one step closer to coming to the KC metro area. In a tweet Thursday afternoon, the City of Overland Park released development plans submitted by the company.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Preliminary plans for an Overland Park Whataburger include demolishing an existing building at the Overland Pointe Marketplace and building a new 3,751 square-foot building with a double drive-thru.
The Overland Park Planning Commission is expected to vote on the plan during its meeting Monday.
