GLOVERSVILLE Micropolis Cooperative Art Gallery announced that Linda Kollar will be its featured artist for March and April. Her show is titled “Colorful Collages.”
Kollar’s passion for art started in high school where she took every art course offered, according to a news release.
She received an AAS degree in advertising, design and production from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica.
For 30 years, Kollar worked as a commercial artist, with the last 21 years in graphic design and production at the Olson Sign Company in Scotia.
Kollar studied experimental water media with Karen Rosasco, learning to work with fluid and tube acrylics and to develop layers of texture within a painting.
