While Manya Singh is the daughter of an auto driver from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, national record holder Priyanka Goswami hails from Meerut.
Both the daughters of UP have made their families and the citizens of the state proud through their achievements. Manya was crowned the VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 Runner Up at a virtual ceremony.

In a quiet bylane at Janupada slum at Thakur Village in Kandivali, there are banners raised in Manya Singh’s honour. Singh was crowned VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 Runner-Up last week and ever since they put up banners emblazoned, “Manya Singh: Janupada ki laadli” (Janupada’s favourite). This little known slum in Kandivali was also the birthplace of Singh in 2000.
For Singh’s parents all the idolatry and people basking in their reflected glory is not a novelty anymore.

New Delhi [India], February 17 (ANI): Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Oil India Limited (OIL), Cairn Oil and Gas (Vedanta Ltd), and Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited (HOEC) hosted the first edition of the virtual summit Upstream Ahead- Oil and Gas Exploration and Production - Towards Vision 2050 on February 11 and February 12.
The summit hosted under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) and Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) provided a platform for all key stakeholders to come together and drive powerful solution-based dialogues for a smooth way forward.
