US asks Russia to explain Ukrainian border provocations

The US State Department called on Russia to refrain from escalating tensions with Ukraine, in comments to reporters on Monday.
Russia has reportedly amassed troops and moved tanks near the Ukrainian border in recent days, as a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine looks increasingly shaky. The movements are the latest point of tension between Russia and the US less than three months after US President Joe Biden took office. We call on Russia to refrain from escalatory actions, State Department spokesman Ned Price said.
Price said the United States would be concerned by any effort by Moscow to intimidate Ukraine, whether it occurred on Russian territory or within Ukraine.
Delhi government announces night curfew in national capital

New Delhi: In view of rising Covid-19 cases, the Delhi government of Tuesday imposed a night curfew in the national capital from 10 pm to 5 am.
The order will be imposed with immediate effect till April 30. However, the government said, there will be no restrictions on traffic movement during the night curfew . People who want to get Covid-19 vaccination will be exempted but will have to get an e-pass. Shopkeepers selling essential goods like groceries, fruits, vegetables, milk, and medicine will be allowed to move after getting an e-pass. Print and electronic media will also be allowed to move only through e-pass, the Delhi government s order stated.

Muscat: Firefighting teams have managed to put out a fire that broke out in the remnants of Awqad Industrial Area without any injuries.
A statement issued online by Public Authority for Civil Defense and Ambulance (PACDA), said: Firefighting teams at the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in Dhofar Governorate were able to extinguish a fire that broke out in the remnants of Awqad Industrial Area in the wilayat of Salalah, without any injuries.
