Karachi: Ambassador of the UAE Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, chief of the air staff, Pakistan Air Force, in his office on Saturday.
The spokesman said the visiting dignitary congratulated the air chief on assuming the command of the PAF. He also assured of cooperation and support in all spheres of collaboration between the two countries and their air forces. The air chief said Pakistan and the UAE had deep-rooted religious, cultural and historical bonds, which were manifested through strong cooperation between the UAE Air Force and the Pakistan Air Force.

ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador for Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al Zaabi, has maintained that his country is working in partnership with other countries and the United Nations to promote the rights of women and girls across the world.
The ambassador was speaking in a gathering of women here on Tuesday in connection with their empowerment.
The UAE Embassy, in accordance with the UAE’s humanitarian and developmental framework, launched the women empowerment initiative under the title “Paving the way” in cooperation with the Aurat Foundation and the UN Women. The launching and distribution ceremony was held in the presence of representatives of the UN Women, Ehsaas Programme, Aurat Foundation and women from different walks of life.

Islamabad:United Arab Emirates (UAE) Embassy Pakistan organised a vaccination programme to vaccinate the employees and all cadres of the Embassy and its representative offices against the COVID-19, says a press release.
The vaccination programme continued for two days from 19th to 20th January 2021 after the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan authorised Sinopharm vaccine in Pakistan.
Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al Zaabi, the UAE Ambassador, said on the occasion that this programme is based on Embassy’s commitment toward social responsibility and to effectively contribute in efforts aimed at safety of the society and preserving the health of its communities.

The UAE embassy in Pakistan organised an immunisation programme to vaccinate employees and all cadres of its representative offices against the Covid-19.
The vaccination programme continued for two days, from 19th to 20th January, after the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (Drap) authorised Sinopharm vaccine in Pakistan.
The Drap earlier this month approved China’s Sinopharm and the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines for emergency use.
China will “gift” half-million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to Pakistan by the end of this month, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced, following his telephonic conversation with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on Thursday.
