BIS: Climate And Environmental Risks - Guide For Supervisors - Executive Summary Date

Galesburg wading pools, splash pads open Friday; Lakeside opens June 4 by appointment
GALESBURG After 2020 saw pools, water parks and splash pads either open late in the season or not at all, this summer is set to be a return to form in Galesburg, although some attractions will open later than usual.
Lakeside water park will be opening Friday, June 4. This is slightly later than the usual opening of Memorial Day Weekend. Galesburg Parks and Recreation Director Tony Oligney-Estill says this is because the pool was painted this spring, and the delivery of this paint took 10 more days than anticipated, pushing back the park district’s schedule.

Until 2020, that is.
