Town of Middlefield Assault Lands Beaten Man in Hospital
The Otsego County Sheriff s Office has released details on an assault that took place at a Town of Middlefield home on April 10. Deputies were sent to a residence where an assault had been reported to discover a man in the backyard of the property with a badly injured arm. During an argument, the man had been struck several times in the arm with a wooden table leg. The victim was taken to Bassett Hospital for medical treatment.

Sheriff Richard Devlin has not released any details on the cause of the assault or the relationship of the victim to the attacker.
