Student-Residents Must Get COVID Vaccine At Oakland University Oakland University in Rochester Michigan announced on their website that they are making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory this fall for every student resident, which includes students living on campus in residence halls, apartments, and cottages. The announcement says that any students living in campus housing must be vaccinated before fall move-in which starts Friday, August 27th. They do say that there will be exceptions made for people with a medical or religious exemption. The school is feeling pretty confident in asking their students to be vaccinated as they have been working to make COVID-19 vaccines widely available around campus starting this Wednesday. They hope to be able to have most of the student and faculty population vaccinated before the end of the current spring semester and most definitely before school starts again in the fall.
