Eau Claire schools to increase in-person learning from 2 to 4 days for middle, high schools

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WKBT) The Eau Claire Area School District will increase in-person learning from two days a week to four for middle school students beginning April 26 and high school students beginning May 3.
The plan, announced Tuesday, mirrors the current elementary model approved on Feb. 24 and calls for sixth through 12th grades to begin learning in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Wednesday will remain a virtual learning day.
“We know that there is tremendous value for in-person classroom learning at all levels, and we are excited about the opportunity for secondary students,” Superintendent Michael Johnson sasid.
