Health is reporting some 43 new COVID19 cases in country and ZNS has some 4 employees who have tested positive!

NASSAU| The Ministry of Health is reporting some 43 New Covid19 cases as the vaccine distribution continues. Some 27 of the cases were identified in patients on New Providence, 12 on Grand Bahama Island, 1 on Abaco and 2 on Eleuthera. There is also one more case on the Berry Islands. We can report some 69 of those who got the AstraZeneca jab here in country have also became infected with the deadly virus. Health has also reported that some 4 persons are in the intensive care section at Doctor’s Hospital. Bahamas Press is also reporting that some four employees at the Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas have tested positive and one has been admitted to hospital.

We are learning Charles Chuckie Albury and his brother Vaughn Albury have both been recently hired contractually by the Government of the Bahamas. Both are collecting their pensions and are now back on the public dole as the latest wards of the state…MY GOODNESS! The greedy appetite of some to continuously suck on the nipple of the public purse goes unabated. With all the challenges of unemployed gripping the nation it is no wonder taxes are so high in this country.

Retired ZNS HR Manager Rose Bradshaw dies while enjoying the US Presidential Inaugural Events…

Retired DGM at BCB Rose Bradshaw NASSAU| Bahamas Press is right now learning Mrs Rose Bradshaw former Deputy General Manager at the Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas passed away suddenly this afternoon. Mrs Bradshaw was home with her husband Mr. Bursel Bradshaw together watching the the Inaugural on TV when she didn’t respond during an exchange of words. It was then he discovered she was dead. She was 87 and the couple had three children. Rest Eternal Grant Unto Her O Lord! Amen. SHARE

Two more battle Covid19 from Mt Tabor and four Covid19 deaths occurred last week from PMH!

NASSAU| More members of the Mt Tabor Baptist Church are battling COVID19 and from the looks of things the Health dashboard is not giving Bahamians a true picture of the worsening pandemic in the country. BP can confirm former police officer  Mr. Mike Ellis is right now in Doctor’s Hospital recovering and Pastor Cox is right now in PMH also recovering there. Both are expected to make full recoveries. Recently the choir was placed on a two week quarantine after an exposure occurred and the recent death of the church’s drummer Sheffield Wallace should be a cause for concern. 

BCB has lost another technical engineer Mr Valentino Obinyear

NASSAU| The Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas technical engineer at the Parliamentary Channel located at the Senate, Mr. Valentino Obinyear, who captured his Covid19 story to the world just a few days ago died this morning in hospital just a few minutes ago. Valentino thanked everyone who helped him along the way during his Covid19 battle over the holidays. We pray for his family as they now mourn his passing on the last day of the year.
