QBIC announces new winners of its LMP  16 Dec 2020 - 10:54 The Peninsula Doha: The MENA region’s leading mixed-use business incubator, Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC) has successfully concluded the second wave of its newly formed Lean Manufacturing Program (LMP), following an event streamed live from QBIC’s headquarters in Doha.  The seven-week program – which is the first of its kind in the country – has seen several promising industrial startups and rapidly growing manufacturing companies take part in practical workshops and developmental online sessions. The LMP team received applications from more than 40 startups, out of which 5 teams were selected to pitch their ideas before a panel of expert judges. The four winners for the second wave of the program were Oxy Tank (Mohsin Al Shaikh), which produces watertank coolers, Biscuit Factory (Khalifa Al Thani), a made-in-Qatar biscuit production startup, Arkana (Hassan Al Ansari) for its innovative approach to
