YUKON – A long-tenured emergency room nurse was the first front-line health worker to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon.
Stacey Purintun was among 275 caregivers to receive their first shots last week. According to Brooke Cayot, some 275 health care professionals with ties to the hospital were expected to get their first shots of the vaccine late last week. They’re slated to receive second and final shots on Jan. 7.
