Over the weekend, the SNP revealed a new roadmap setting out how they would secure a vote on Scottish independence - even if Downing Street refuse to consent. Last year the Scottish Government was working on legislation to allow a second independence referendum, though it was suspended in March as “a result of the need to deploy as many civil servants as possible to work on Scotland’s response to the pandemic”.

The Scottish Parliament has backed the idea of planning another independence referendum despite accusations it is “reckless and damaging” to do so during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Scottish Conservatives described the SNP’s recent announcement of an independence taskforce and a route map for a vote on independence was “not just unfathomable, but unforgivable”.
But in a parliamentary debate, a Tory motion calling for the Scottish Government to create a vaccine taskforce rather than one to plan another referendum campaign was rejected by MSPs.

Biden to Visit UK First to Plot ‘Destiny of the World’ with Boris Johnson

President-Elect Joe Biden will reportedly make his first international trip outside of North America to the United Kingdom to plot the “destiny of the world” with Prime Minister Boris Johnson, a source close to the 77-year-old Democrat has claimed.
Insiders within the Biden camp have pointed to the G7 meeting in June, which will be hosted by the UK in Cornwall, as the likely time of the meeting.
A source cited as a “close friend” of Mr Biden told the British paper
The Daily Telegraph that the president-elect will look to put aside differences over Brexit, to which Biden has long expressed his opposition.
OH to have been a spy in the office as Richard Leonard pondered his future as branch manager of the imperial Labourites! He has always struck me as an oddity, someone way out of his depth and certainly not a person with any clear understanding of the Scottish politic. Did he honestly believe all he had to do was swan in and speak in disjointed statements and the voters of Scotland would flock back to the banner? Did he not realise the toxicity of his party? Did he not understand that his party, along with the other parties that owe allegiance to the foreign capital, have not only burnt their bridges leading to the voters of Scotland, but heavily cratered all approaches leading to the remains of those bridges?
