12U War Eagles take 3rd place at national tourney
The 12-and-under Taylor County War Eagles’ tackle football squad finished in third place of the season-ending United Youth Football League (UYFL) National Championship tournament held in Plant City.
The War Eagles won two out of three games games during the national tournament featuring youth tackle football teams from around the U.S.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - With crime knocking in their neighborhood and a changing school schedule due to the pandemic, it would be easy to give up.
Instead, the NC Giants 10-and-under football team, known as the Monstars, used the field to not only teach life lessons but win a national championship.
“It made me feel great because it was my first time going to Florida,” said Bryant White.
14U War Eagles fall to team later disqualified for fielding illegal players in championship tourney
The 14-and-Under (14U) Taylor County War Eagles’ tackle football squad had their hopes of a national championship crushed after running into a team fielding illegal overage players during the United Youth Football League (UYFL) National Championship tournament held recently in Plant City.
The 14U War Eagles won one of three games in the national tournament, defeating a team from New York in between losses to teams from Ohio and Philadelphia

Last week, we featured the Hudson County Dolphins’ youth football program that was headed to the United Youth Football League national championships in Plant City, Florida.
This week, we’re pleased to announce that the Dolphins’ 8-and-under team placed fourth in the entire nation, with the MOT Cowboys of Florida winning the week-long event.

The Hudson County Dolphins 8U team recently traveled to Plant City, Florida to play in the youth football championships
