The one everyone wants to try. And the Bill s Bites crew is no different. One Nation Tap & Table had a soft opening a month ago with takeout available. But as of March 1, the highly anticipated restaurant with an American flair, opened for dine-in and the parking lot has been full ever since. It s also been awhile since Bill s Bites has had new restaurants to go to. Eating through the pandemic, Bill s Bites tried different takeout options, we looked through our past at the best of the best and even took a second look at some places. But now, we are back to where we started. With Bill s Bites taking a first look at some new restaurants in the area.

Long Term Road And Sidewalk Closure In Downtown Battle Creek The City of Battle Creek is alerting residents of an upcoming long term road and sidewalk closure. The closures are due to rehabilitation work at the former Arcadia building located at 103 West Michigan Avenue beginning Monday, February 8, 2021. During this project, the sidewalk from Carlyle Street to McCamly Street and the eastbound lane of Michigan Avenue will be closed. Detours will be in place. Pedestrians and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. The work is not scheduled to be complete until sometime in May. The former Arcadia building turns 100-years-old this year. The building was built sometime in 1921. At that time, it housed Cushman Motor Sales, and the address was 103-113 West Main. (That part of Main street later was renamed Michigan Avenue.) Business is Booming in Battle Creek! There are plenty of Battle Creek naysayers, but when you hear them start with their Eeyore act, just tell them about some of the things John Hart talks about.   John is the City of Battle Creek’s Business Development Manager.  He visited the 95.3 WBCK Morning Show with Tim Collins this week for an update.   He said it’s definitely been very strange in the “new normal”, but they’re still working hard to bring new things to Battle Creek, all over the city’s 20+ business districts, from the four corners to Beckley Road and more.   He said all across the city, people are coming up with new and interesting ways to open businesses.
