SALT LAKE CITY â One Utah health leader has come out in support of the
Dr. Angela Dunn, Executive Director of the Salt Lake County Health Department, applauded that guidance.
âCDCâs announcement today echoes concerns I shared last week that this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, and that widespread vaccination remains our most effective defense â including against the delta variant, said Dunn in a statement.
Utah is among the many states where COVID cases are spiking this summer,
Dunn, who previously served as the state s epidemiologist, says the CDCs new recommendation will help protect those who can t be vaccinated because of certain medical conditions, as well as children who are too young to receive the vaccine.

DEER CREEK RESERVOIR â One Utah man dropped his phone at the bottom of a reservoir and had no hopes of ever getting it back until one person at the right place and time found it.
One of the last times Evan Byington was at Deer Creek Reservoir, he was ice fishing with his buddy.
âI usually only go out on the ice once or twice a season with my neighbor, said Byington.
