Tuba player Bruce Deal will perform a virtual recital for the next concert in the McDonough Museum Honors Recital Series.
Deal, a junior music education major from Bethel Park, Pa., has played the tuba since he was 11. He performed with the Youngstown State University Wind Ensemble, Dana Symphony Orchestra, Three Rivers Young People Orchestra, Pennsylvania Music Educators Association All State Concert Band and multiple chamber groups during his time at YSU.
He also plays bass and trombone, performing in the YSU Contemporary Ensemble, Voices of YSU, YSU Wind Ensemble, YSU Jazz Ensemble 2, YSU Trombone Choir, YSU Clarinet Choir and various PMEA jazz events.
