OSWEGO â Oswego County Public Health Director Jiancheng Huang announced Monday, June 14, that six additional residents have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last three days. This brings the total cumulative number of positive cases since the county began monitoring for COVID-19 in March 2020 to 8,110.
There was one new case on Saturday, no new cases on Sunday, and five new cases reported today. There are currently 28 active positive cases.
âWe are also sad to report that we have lost another resident to COVID-19 over the past weekend,â said Huang. âOur condolences go out to the family and friends of this patient.â

OSWEGO — Citing increased vaccination and lower COVID-19 rates, Oswego County Legislature Chairman James Weatherup has rescinded the State of Emergency regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
