Eastern Oklahoma saw a strong storm system that brought strong winds, including brief tornado funnels, along with heavy rains Thursday afternoon through evening.
McIntosh County had a Tornado Warning Thursday evening, with two funnels spotted by our News On 6 Storm Trackers near Raiford and Eufala. Severe storms popped up with lots of rain, causing flooding concerns across Eastern Oklahoma.
The Tornado Watch for eastern Oklahoma has expired as of 9 p.m.
8:30 p.m. Update
The Tornado Warning has expired in McIntosh County Thursday, but a severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 8:15 p.m. Our News On 6 Storm Tracker captured a tornado on the ground near Raiford and a funnel near Eufaula. The storm is set to hit Bordeaux 8:24; Lodi 8:25; Red Oak 8:25; Dog Creek 8:26; Cedar 8:29; Denman 8:29; Norris 8:30; Hughes 8:32; Walls 8:32; Calhoun 8:33; Bengal 8:35.

9:45 p.m. Update:
A tornado warning has been issued for Sequoyah County until 10:15 p.m.
A tornado has been confirmed and touched down near Roland around 9:40 p.m. The tornado is moving east to Dora and across the Oklahoma-Arkansas border.
8 p.m. updates:
A Tornado Warning has been issued for Pittsburg County until 8:30 p.m. Monday, and the tornado warning in Latimer County has been allowed to expire. The center of the storm is moving northeast from McAlester and near Wilburton around 40-45 miles per hour.
The storm is set to hit Denman at 8:54 p.m.; McCurtain 8:56 p.m.; Keota 9:02 p.m.; Tamaha 9:06 p.m.; Kerr Reservoir 9:07 p.m.; Bokoshe 9:12 p.m.; Harrison 9:13 p.m.; and Brent 9:14 p.m. Over 1,000 customers in Pittsburg County are reported to be without power as of 8:55 p.m.

Gov. Kevin Stitt signed a bill making Oklahoma a Second Amendment Sanctuary despite some questions if it will hold up in court.
Oklahoma joined Alaska, Idaho, Kansas, Wyoming, and Arizona, plus hundreds of counties nationwide, in declaring themselves a Second Amendment Sanctuary â a state that declares any law or order to confiscate or buy back firearms to be unconstitutional. Texas lawmakers are also considering a similar measure.
Pittsburg County Sheriff Chris Morris was among several Oklahoma sheriffs to declare their counties a Second Amendment Sanctuary last year â and he advocates the state s governor signing the bill into law.
