First Presbyterian welcomes new pastor

His scripture will be 1st Corinthians 2:1-5, a passage from the apostle Paul.
“I think it’s one of the best passages of scripture for a pastor to guide their ministry, Hansen said. “My hope is to continue to build upon what strong foundation exists in First Presbyterian.”
There’s a saying, he said, that the future is through the past, and for this historic church (which dates back to 1882), “there is so much past, so much tradition and history and as you look towards the future, I am still learning the goals and dreams of the membership here – more broadly from my experience with the nominating committee and other leadership.
