UPDATE: Dog in crate strapped to the back of an RV located by police
(Update: June 29, 2021): A dog reported by several people travelling from the Lower Mainland to the South Okanagan has been located.
Several reports were received by the RCMP and the BC SPCA on Sunday after an RV was seen with a dog crate strapped to the back, with the dog inside.
This was during a historic heatwave that saw records broken across the province.
The Keremeos RCMP received a call at 8:21 pm on Sunday from a concerned member of the public who spotted the vehicle on Highway 3 going into Osoyoos. Patrols were done to locate the RV, but to no avail.
