Minister Foley invites applications from schools for new arts in education initiative – BLAST 2021   The Minister for Education Norma Foley TD today invited primary and post-primary schools to apply for a new arts in education initiative, BLAST 2021. BLAST – Bringing Live Arts to Students and Teachers – is a new initiative which will enable up to 400 new arts in education residencies in schools each year. The aim of this scheme is to give pupils in schools all over the country the opportunity to work with a professional artist on unique projects. These bespoke classes will be originated and planned between the artist, teacher and the school under the coordination of the ESCI network of 21 full-time education centres.

TBWA\Dublin Continues to Expand with New Talent May 13, 2021 MEET THE NEW STARTERS KYLE SCHOUW, ART DIRECTOR & DESIGNER Kyle is a multi-disciplinary creative from South Africa. He has over 7 years’ experience in advertising, branding and design across a multitude of sectors. In 2017 he was awarded a gold Cannes Young Lion in the design category, a first for Ireland. In 2019 he was fortunate enough to work with UN Women to develop the creative platform for Women Count, a global initiative which seeks to radically change how gender statistics are addressed globally.   For Kyle, the positive impact work has on peoples’ lives is a core tenant to his unique creative approach. Kyle is also a published portrait photographer. His passion for image making and photography compliments his work and allows him to express and share personal reflection through a different medium.
