The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity
Where to watch:Netflix
When to watch: February 4
Netflix has done a brilliant job bringing international TV to our screens. Now they’re bringing massive blockbusters from overseas too. This epic fantasy period piece from China looks amazing and we can’t wait to watch it. So what’s it about? “When a demonic serpent reawakens, the Yin-Yang Masters must solve a murder mystery and protect their realms from a dark conspiracy at the royal court.” Sounds likely a perfectly good time.

What’s better than a “mind-bending love story” for Valentine’s Day? If that’s what you’re looking for, check out
Bliss, which premieres on Amazon Prime Video on February 5. The film stars Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek in a story about a divorcee who meets a mysterious woman who tries to convince him “the polluted, broken world around them is just a computer simulation.” (On second thought, maybe this isn’t the best Valentine’s Day movie, unless you’re dating a

George Clooney… Is there anything that this man cannot do? Aside from being one of the world’s most handsome men (yes, apparently there actually is an award for that) and an Oscar-winning actor, Clooney is also a seasoned film director. But Clooney has gained a good bit of clout as a filmmaker over the past two decades, too, with his seventh feature,
The Midnight Sky, now on Netflix. While Clooney s latest movie hasn t received the warmest response, this sci-fi/drama streaming release sees the actor returning to the director s chair
and in front of the screen, as he hasn t starred in a movie since 2016 s
Believe it or not, George Clooney will be turning 60 soon.
It’s a fact that he brings up voluntarily during a roundtable Zoom interview with Malaysian and Indonesian journalists for
The Midnight Sky, his latest feature which he directs and stars in.
At this video conference, the American actor looks as sharp and handsome as he always has as Hollywood’s leading man. Or in other words, not at all like a person we’d think is 59 years old.
Wearing a short-sleeved white shirt, Clooney is friendly and casual from the get-go despite the interview method that has become the norm this year.
