The Idaho Republican Party issued a statement Friday saying that local anti-government demonstrator Ammon Bundy is not welcome inside the Idaho GOP. This comes after Bundy announced he intends to run for governor as a Republican. Republican Party Chairman Tom Luna accused Bundy of dividing the party, saying they do not support his 'antics' or what they call political theater. He adds Bundy is not registered to vote in Idaho and is not registered.

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) Idaho Democratic Party Chair Fred Cornforth announced Monday party has hired Jared DeLoof to serve as Executive Director heading into the 2022 election cycle.
DeLoof comes to the IDP after five years of working with NextGen America registering hundreds of thousands of voters and electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
“Jared’s experience in grassroots organizing and registering voters will serve the organization well as we lay the groundwork and strategy for a groundbreaking statewide organizing effort as we head into 2022,” Cornforth said. “We couldn’t be more excited about his experience and knowledge he will bring to Idaho to help capitalize on the radicalization and defeat the out-of-touch GOP politicians in the Idaho legislature.”

The Idaho Falls Republican announced her candidacy at events in Idaho Falls, Boise and Coeur d Alene on Wednesday, confirming longstanding rumors that she would try to unseat incumbent Gov. Brad Little, a member of her own party.
With American flags waving in the wind, McGeachin stepped toward the podium on the Idaho Capitol steps Wednesday afternoon. Speakers blared Krista Branch s I Am America, an anti-establishment song that had become a rallying cry at Republican and Tea Party events 10 years ago. Several in the crowd wore red baseball caps with drain the swamp written in white letters.
