Riders have always felt a deep connection with their motorcycles, being both vehicles of leisure and transportation. Yamaha Motor Philippines hopes to fortify that bond with its latest models that allow riders to link with their motorcycles with a new smart phone app.
That app is Yamaha Motorcycle Connect (Y-Connect), and once linked, it gives riders a more detailed look at their bike’s performance, condition, and statistics. The app can telegraph the bike’s fuel consumption, tachometer reading, service reminders, error codes or mulfunctions if any, as well as parking location. It can even link with other Yamaha riders across the globe to compare fuel consumption figures and eco-riding points.
