An unusually prolonged period of squally weather will continue through much of southwest WA to Wednesday.
Damage to trees and homes in Eagle Bay on Monday morning may have been caused by a tornado. Images of the damage are consistent with a tornado or straight-line winds.
A severe weather warning remains current for the South West district and adjacent parts of the Lower West, Great Southern and South Coastal districts. Locations in the warning area include Albany, Bunbury, Katanning, Mandurah, Manjimup, Margaret River, Mount Barker, Narrogin and Perth.
Flooding from low lying coastal areas is still possible from higher than normal tides. Damaging wind gusts of more than 100 kilometres per hour, damaging surf and coastal erosion are also possible.
