Flood Assessment Continues In Museum Fire Burn Area

Credit KNAU Coconino County officials estimate up to 700,000 sandbags have been placed throughout the area since the 2019 Museum Fire. County crews continue to work on restoring capacity to flood channels in critical areas, including Linda Vista crossing, Dortha inlet and Arroyo Seco inlet. The National Guard finished work in Mount Elden Estates and is rebuilding the unpaved portion of Fourth Street leading to the Humane Society.
