Updated: 4:30 PM EDT Apr 11, 2021 WLWT Digital Staff WLWT Digital Staff A man was arrested following a hostage situation and police standoff on Sunday morning, according to the Mount Healthy Police Department.Police were called to the 7400 block of Werner Avenue just before 10 a.m.Officials said the Hamilton County Communications Center was advised there was a violent individual in the home who possibly had a firearm. They were also told there was a person inside being held hostage.The police department said responding officers established a perimeter, secured the area and used de-escalation techniques.After approximately an hour, the standoff was resolved and the suspect was placed into custody. No one was harmed in the incident.Police arrested Rico Salguero, 37. Salguero is charged with domestic violence and unlawful restraint. The cops were called onto the scene to break up fights and one of the juveniles attempted to strike an officer, according to the police. (CNN)Parents from Ohio face charges after they rented a party bus for their child s 14th birthday and had 60 mask-less kids packed inside, Ohio police said.
On Saturday, the Mount Healthy police saw an unmarked bus drop 60 kids off at the Hilltop Shopping Center, which is located approximately 11 miles north of Cincinnati. The kids exiting the vehicle were not wearing masks or social distancing, and several fights broke out after the children exited the bus, the police said in a statement.
